A recovery community and peer support is essential for achieving long-term sobriety. The early stages of recovery can be emotionally and physically challenging. Deciding to get sober, and stay sober, is no easy feat, thus there will be bad days. A recovery community provides the necessary encouragement and support for an individual to overcome challenges that may arise during this time. The goal at each of our sober living houses is to help our members maintain their sobriety when they graduate from one of our sober living houses.
We’re standing by to support you on your path to mental and physical wellness
From the time we first contacted New Life to today (our son is a graduate from this program and about to move out of the recovery home. He graduated after 14 months and moving out after 17 months.), it has been a blessing. This program not only prepares these young men to achieve sobriety but it also gives them the tools to sustain it. This program provides parents the support to stay involved in the recovery process and embark the family in a healing path (something that seemed impossible in the midst of addiction). As our son actively works the program, we, parents, are given the tools and education to repair and foster healthy family dynamics and strive for a joyful life. We saw our son mature, we matured and learned a new way of life by setting boundaries for our adult child while loving him unconditionally.
From Our Families
Max, howard, dillon, sebastian…..the very best and most amazing people you will ever meet. Thank you new life…you will forever and always have my love, gratitude and blessings. Our son entered the New Life Program at Miracle House fifteen months ago at the age of 35. My wife and I were at the end of the road in having any hope that he had much longer to live due to his lifestyle and his behavior.

Victory Programs assists each young man in discovering and realizing his aspirations by offering everything from a standard college track to professional certifications to vocational schools. While residing with us, young men live within a safe and supportive atmosphere where they can begin to utilize the 12-Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous in their daily lives.
We came from very humble beginnings, and would love to tell you our story of success and recovery. At our sober living homes for men in Los Angeles, we incorporate the entire family into the structured recovery process. An important feature of sober living rehab aftercare is the hands-on support from professionals who have years of experience in the field. Victory Programs directors and managers are sober and in recovery themselves. This allows them to impart valuable advice and support to young men currently going through the houses. The young men at our sober living homes in Los Angeles work with our Director of Education to assess their strengths and aspirations and, with the support of their families, are placed into one of these educational programs.

Methamphetamine, or meth, increases energy, agitation, and paranoia. Long-term use can result in severe physical and mental health issues. Agitation, muscle ticks, psychosis, and heart issues are common symptoms of cocaine abuse.
He was an active alcoholic who had no idea how to navigate his way through life as an adult without using alcohol to distract him. Throughout his months at new life, he slowly learned how to love himself, to gain confidence and to truly learn what it means to be at peace. Don’t get me wrong, there were plenty of ups and downs and trials and tribulations on both our parts. I spent many a late night dealing with anxiety and endless worry, but i knew every day that he was safe and he was learning to confront his demons and come out the other side. I have so many people to thank, the guys in charge of my son who have become my family and geoffrey’s family as well.
